Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) is applicable for any online UPSC subscriptions, which are made available at our online platform offered by SarrthiIAS. This Policy should be read along with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, and any other policies made available to the subscribers on our online platform. Any term not specifically defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the online platform.

SarrthiIAS strictly shall not provide any refund processing & cancellation or transfer the money to be adjusted against any other applicant. SarrthiIAS shall not be liable to provide any refunds, for any reason including lack of usage, or dissatisfaction with the batch/educators.

General No-Refund Policy for Online Courses

Generally, online/digital courses offered by SarrthiIAS have a strict no-refund policy except for duplicate payments or cases where the course isn't provided.

  • Exceptions: Refunds may be issued only if a course is not provided within the purchase timeframe or in cases of duplicate payments.
  • Digital Purchases are Final: You should review your commitment and details thoroughly before making a purchase, as these are usually final sales.
  • Change or shift in course: Students are permitted to change their courses; however, in such instances, SarrthiIAS will apply administrative charges, which will amount to a minimum of 25% of the total payment. The remaining balance will be held as retained money, exclusively for enrollment in new courses. Please note that all such course change requests are subject to approval by SarrthiIAS.
  • Extra payment / Duplicate Payment Refund Policy: Should SarrthiIAS receive an overpayment for any course, we will process a refund for the surplus amount within 15 days of receiving valid proof of such claims. Refunds can be facilitated through direct bank transfer via NEFT, in-person collection of a cheque by the student or an authorized representative from SarrthiIAS offices, or any other method mutually agreed upon by the student and SarrthiIAS management.

SarrthiIAS is not liable for any damages resulting solely from bank processing errors or student negligence during the payment process. Students are advised to address such issues directly with their bank and may escalate the matter to consumer forums if unsatisfied. SaarthiIAS will endeavor to assist students with these matters, subject to limitations of time, workforce, and other operational factors.

To process a refund for a valid request, the SarrthiIAS may contact the Subscriber to verify details within 7 business days from the date of receipt of the request. Therefore, it is mandatory to raise a Refund Request from the registered email ID and phone number of the Subscriber only. For clarity, business day refers to a day that is not Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or bank holiday in India.

While we strive to provide an excellent learning experience, the SarrthiIAS reserves the right to withhold or cancel refunds in cases of identified fraudulent activity by the Subscriber, including but not limited to violations of our Platform Terms or applicable laws. In such circumstances, no further attempts will be made to process a refund for the Subscriber.
